Children are welcome to visit the Museum in the company of parents / carers, and their supervision and safety remains the responsibility of their parents / carers for the duration of their visit.
The Museum is open to walk-in visitors from 09:30 to 17:00 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
There is no need to pre-book your visit; just turn up anytime within the Museum’s opening hours! When you arrive at Bethlem Hospital’s gates, you will see the Museum building in front of you, just 150 yards into the site.

East Croydon (16 mins from London Victoria or London Bridge), followed by SL5 bus (towards Bromley - Bethlem Royal Hospital stop). 119 bus (towards Bromley - Shirley Baptist Church stop) or 198 bus (towards Shrublands - Monks Orchard Road stop). This route should offer step free access, but please check with Transport for London first.
Bromley South (16 mins from London Victoria), followed by SL5 bus (towards Croydon - Bethlem Royal Hospital stop) or 119 bus (towards Croydon - Shirley Baptist Church stop). This route should offer step free access, but please check with Transport for London first.
