Our Art Collection
Our art collection comprises around 1,000 works, including paintings, drawings, ceramics and textiles. Our catalogue is available online and can be accessed here. If you would like to use one of our artworks for a publication, please visit Bridgeman Images who manage the majority of such requests on our behalf. If the image you wish to use is not available through Bridgeman please contact us. Our tariff can be downloaded below.
Our Loan Exhibitions
We are happy to loan individual works of art to museums and galleries, and additionally have a number of touring exhibitions available to borrow. We do not charge for loans, but we do ask borrowers to meet the cost of transport and insurance and acknowledge our charity and its work prominently.
If you are interested in borrowing from us please submit a formal loan request addressed to the Bethlem Art and History Collections Trust (c/o the museum) at least 8 months before your intended exhibition start date. The request should include:
- The borrowing institution’s name and address
- The item or exhibition you are interested in borrowing
- When you would like to borrow the exhibition
- A complete UKRG Facilities Report for your institution. This form can be downloaded from UKRG.
If you would like to discuss a loan before making a formal request please contact us.
