Name on the door
Bethlem Museum of the Mind promotes understanding of mental illness, its treatment and recovery, through free access to our worldclass collections. Since we opened the doors to our new Museum in 2015, we have engaged over 12,000 people directly every year through the displays, exhibitions, learning and outreach programmes.
Our ambition is to keep access free of charge, and we rely on donations to make this possible.
One in six adults at any time will be experiencing a mental health condition, while one in ten children will be affected
As part of our Name on the Door scheme, you will have your name, or the name of a loved one, inscribed on one of the glass doors or entrance panels of the Museum.
