Guided tour of Manasa Chitra

Join us for a tour of our new temporary exhibition, Manasa Chitra: the Art of Mental Health from Bengaluru to Bethlem. Together we will delve deeper into some of the artworks, the history of how the collection came to Bethlem, and behind-the-scenes insights into the joys and challenges of working with a historic art collection.

 

This tour will be led by Rachel Ditchfield, a PhD student researching Bethlem Royal Hospital in the First World War, who is currently undertaking a placement at Bethlem Museum of the Mind to work on this exhibition. Her project is funded by AHRC, and she is co-supervised by the University of Liverpool and Imperial War Museum London.
