Join Keith Clapson as he shares his journey of recovery from OCD and explains the key role his art practice played in managing his illness.

Formerly avoidant of objects and environments he considered unsterile, unpredictable or unfamiliar, Keith learned to use ceramics to express his feelings and gain focus, aided by Bethlem's Occupational Therapy department and Anxiety Disorders Residential Unit. He has since earned a Diploma in Ceramics from City Lit and has exhibited his work at The Menier Gallery, CityLit Gallery and the Ortus Centre. Bethlem Gallery were thrilled to host his first solo exhibition in the autumn of 2023.
