The Art of Louis Wain
A journey through the life and work of one of the most prolific British illustrators of the Victorian era, Louis Wain (1860-1939), including his time as a Bethlem patient. The exhibition features his famous anthropomorphic cats as well as his less well-known paintings of birds, flowers and landscapes. It challenges some of the stereotypes that have been generated around his creative work in relation to his mental health.
