This is the last in our series of stray advertisements from the Journal of Mental Science in the 1930s and 1940s. It is an appropriate partner to the ECT advertisement we posted last month, having been published at a time (1943) when debate still raged over whether electricity or drugs induced convulsions most effectively, but before the debate had started over whether convulsive therapy of any sort was an appropriate treatment for schizophrenia.
